Our vineyard

The Puklavec family's passion for wine is evident from the history of our vineyard. We have been making Slovenian white wines for generations. It is safe to say that making wine runs in our blood, figuratively speaking, of course.

In the 1930s, Martin Puklavec turned Jeruzalem-Ormož into one of the best wine regions in the world. He worked at a local winegrower's cooperative. Years later, Martin had the current wine cellar built. It turned out to be very successful, because even the British queen became a lover of our wines. And one of the oldest bottles in our wine archives, a 1956 Sauvignon, is still one of the best Sauvignon Blancs ever made.

After an interval of several years, the wine company reverted back to the family in 2009. Vladimir Puklavec, Martin's son, has taken over the company and injected new life into the wine cellar. This has resulted in some changes. Besides the necessary investments in the cellar, the working conditions of the winegrowers in the cooperative have also considerably improved and you can taste it in the wine. Together, we want to make sure that as many people as possible enjoy our wines. p&f wineries has become the winery that turns grapes from the region into refreshing white wines.
